Are meals included?
Yes, campers receive three square meals and morning coffee!
Does my fee include camping?
No. Primitive camping is $20 a night, and camping with electric is $25.00. We don't book the camp sites. You can pay on arrival or call the Osceola Fairgrounds office at 231-734-5481 to pay ahead.
Do I need to bring my own instrument(s).
Yes! Someone might lend you a pick, but probably not their instrument.
Is this camp for kids or adults?
This camp was designed for adults. However, kids under 18 can attend as long as they are directly supervised at all times. Please consider their readiness to attend sessions with adults.
Do I need to be experienced?
Nope! There are classes for all levels of students. The instructors base the pace of the sessions on the needs of the students.
Is this the first year this camp has been held?
The Buckwheat Music camp is being organized by the leadership and the instructors of the now-defunct Summer Wheat camp.
Can I get 1 on 1 help?
Yes, there is a session each day for 1-on-1 instruction. Sign up at the info desk. Spots will fill up fast.
Do I have to stay in a class all week?
No. You can switch it up as you see fit and as your abilities allow.
What if I need to leave a day or two early?
No worries! A goodbye would be nice, though!
